A partir de una aproximación previa en un trabajo anterior a propósito de aspectos fonéticos y morfológicos en dos tratados quirúrgicos del Corpus Hippocraticum, De fistulis y De haemorrhoidibus, en el presente artículo se quiere continuar esta labor en el terreno de la sintaxis y el vocabulario, con vistas a poner de relieve algunos rasgos de griego helenístico que, claramente, aparecen en estos tratados. Entre otras consideraciones, en este artículo se quieren poner de relieve algunos rasgos lingüísticos de los tratados hipocráticos De fistulis y De haemorrhoidibus, dentro del grupo de los tratados quirúrgicos de la Colección, con vistas a mostrar cómo se entreveran en ellos rasgos jónicos y áticos en dirección al griego helenístico. La storia della Sicilia greca è scandita, nei suoi momenti chiave, dalla persistente presenza dell’immagine del Dinomenide Gelone. Questo lavoro analizza le valenze paradigmatiche assunte dalla sua figura nella memoria civica siracusana e nella produzione storiografica; inoltre ricostruisce le dinamiche politiche che hanno spinto i principali tiranni siracusani (da Dionisio I a Ierone II) a stabilire un confronto con Gelone. En este artículo el autor trata de señalar que la construcción de ἵνα más subjuntivo con valor de imperativo es anterior a la koiné. Asimismo trata de explicar su origen y sus fases a partir de un proceso de gramaticalización constatable, por ejemplo, en la lengua de Sófocles, Eurípides y Jenofonte. In this paper the author tries to point out that ἵνα with subjunctive as imperative is previous to koiné. Likewise he tries to explain its origin and phases starting from a grammaticalization process that is noticeable in the language of Sophocles, Euripides and Xenophon.

The work of the Greek Jesuit originally from Scio, Tommaso Stanislao Velasti, constitutes a compendium of the philhellenic ideology which, starting from the second half of the eighteenth century, influenced the irredentist processes which in 1821 led Greece to proclaim its independence from the Sublime Porte. In his research path, Velasti was lucky enough to come across the works of Albanian intellectuals from Sicily, at whose Palermo seminar he was able to dwell in the crucial years of his ideological turning point. The paper aims to offer an account of some representative opinions of ancient Greeks about the role of the space, conceived in its geographical/environmental value, in which a certain population lives, as well as of the language spoken by a population, in order to build historically the concept of Greek nation (to Hellenikón). The different positions expressed on these matters by Herodotus, Thucydides, Strabon and Pausanias are discussed, and the examination mostly concernes the ethnic and historical-linguistic aspects of the representation of the Dorians and Ionians.
